Our weekend at Pilgrim Heights will be a fun, adult summer camp!

Wedding day details
♥ Our ceremony will be held at Vesper Point, weather-permitting. In the event of inclement weather, we’ll have an alternate space ready to go inside the lodge.
♥ Our reception will be held inside the Hickory Lodge/Four Seasons.
♥ There is an office near the camp entrance if you have any questions or want to buy last-minute items or souvenirs.
About the area
♥ Pilgrim Heights Camp and Retreat Center is located along U.S. Highway 30, about an hour and 10 minutes northwest of Des Moines.
♥ The closest nearby towns with amenities are Marshalltown and Tama.
♥ The closest nearby hotel is the Meskwaki Bingo Casino and Hotel, which is just down the road from camp.
♥ Meskwaki Travel Plaza, about a mile down Highway 30, is perfect for gas, snacks, and last-second camp items.
Note: Because of its location on the Meskwaki reservation, it does not offer alcohol.
Parking
♥ Spaces will be available the day of the wedding near Four Seasons or the office.
♥ Please note that ride-share services (Uber, Lyft, etc.) will not be available or in range at this venue.
♥ Your safety is our priority! You are more than welcome to leave your vehicle overnight if it means you get home safe.
